The Bhartiya Public School Chamba was established in the year 1971 with a object to impart every kind of education which has directly or indirectly the object or effect of popularizing strengthening and developing Aryan Sanskriti with Sh. Sagar Chand Nayyar as its first Chairman and Mr. Kuldeep Chand Chowfla, Mr. Manmohan Joshi, Mr. Dharam Pal Mahajan, Mr. Gauri Shankar Sharma, Mr. Ram Kumar Gupta and Mr. Mangat Ram Verma as executive members and the society was registered under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 with Registration No. 186/1973 dated 9th November 1973.

To ensure that education is more formative then informative so that it may be able to shape and develop the natural talents of the students and also enable him/her to absorb and express the permanent values of Indian culture. To establish, control, direct, take over, conduct, supervise, develop and manage/and or join in the establishment control directions taking over conduct supervision development and management of Schools, Institutions and bodies for giving and imparting any kind of description of education and training including without prejudice to the generality and in particular primary and secondary academical, vocational, professional as well as education and training in arts, science, commerce including fine arts and craft.

All the Bhartiya Public Schools are resolved to be completely digitized from its Golden Jubilee session 2020-21 to be one of the best schools in India. All the Schools shall be able to provide through audio video and with latest technology at par with the best schools with its qualified, experienced and devoted teachers and staff.

All the schools are having smart class rooms, well equipped laboratories, and are recognized by the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. The Bhartiya Public Sr. Sec. School Chamba, Bhartiya Public School Sultanpur High and Bhartiya Public School Sarol High are affiliated with the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education Dharamshala.
